1. Introduction

At Mika’s Rent a Car & Transfers, we strive to provide exceptional service and customer satisfaction. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds and returns are handled for our car rental and transfer services.

2. Reservation Cancellations and Refunds

a. Cancellation by Customer:

  • Up to 48 Hours Before Service:
    • If you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or transfer time, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Less than 48 Hours Before Service:
    • If you cancel your reservation less than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or transfer time, you will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to one day’s rental fee or 50% of the transfer service fee, whichever is higher.

b. No-Show:

  • If you do not show up at the agreed time and location for the pickup or transfer without prior notice, you will not be eligible for any refund.

3. Modifications to Reservations

  • Modification Requests:
    • Requests to modify reservations (e.g., change of dates, vehicle type, or transfer details) are subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to request a modification.
  • Modification Fees:
    • Changes made to reservations may incur additional fees, depending on the nature of the modification and the timing of the request.

4. Service Cancellations by Mika’s Rent a Car & Transfers

  • Unforeseen Circumstances:

    • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle unavailability, safety concerns), you will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund will be provided.
  • Force Majeure:

    • Mika’s Rent a Car & Transfers is not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or other force majeure events. In such cases, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Refund Processing

  • Method of Refund:

    • Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. If this is not possible, an alternative method will be arranged with you.
  • Refund Timeframe:

    • Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account, depending on your payment provider.
